Our Challenge

With innovation at the forefront of Gilkes a redesign of their 8-year-old website was long overdue. Fat Media won the proposal to redesign and redevelop the Gilkes website in 2018.

Established in 1853, Gilkes export their products to over 85 countries and hold a Royal Warrant. Reflecting their rich heritage and experience in design and manufacturing was essential to the redesign of the site. 

What We Delivered

  • Mobile-First Design

    To ensure the site provides a consistent experience for every user

  • Website Development

    Created using the Umbraco content management system

  • Google Maps API

    Incorporated an interactive map linking global case studies

Mobile-First Approach

It was clear that a fresh and clear update was needed to improve navigation and usability of the site. We developed and designed the website starting with the mobile to guarantee a smooth user journey across all devices.
