Our Challenge

Kendal Mountain Festival approached Fat Media in 2018 to redesign their website to reflect the adventurous, lively and unique experience that the festival offers. We used imagery and video to attract a broader audience and accurately portray the spirit of the Kendal Mountain Festival.

Our team brought several sites relating to the Kendal Mountain Festival under one main website to make the it more user friendly. It was important that the website showcased partners of the festival and made it straightforward for companies to sponsor the festival.

Sharing The Adventure

The aim of the site is to inspire and communicate the atmosphere of the Kendal Mountain Festival to the visitor and take the user on an exciting journey to discover all the festival has to provide. 

An extensive site map was created to aid the creation of an effortless user journey and ensure the different events and areas of the festival are highlighted. 

A Harmonious User Journey

To drive traffic to the site and improve ticket sales the redesign optimised the site for use across desktops, mobiles and laptops with pop-ups to book tickets appearing across all devices.
