Our Challenge

Fat Media and Ventec have developed a great long-term relationship; having worked together for over 6 years on a number of projects and campaigns.

Our most recent adventure together was the rebranding of the company to show them as the international group that they are operationally, alongside the design and development of a new corporate site to represent the entire organisation across the globe.

We took the opportunity to meet the HQ team in Suzhou, China, to get to grips with what they needed from the new website and document any technical restrictions we may come across to ensure these were taken into consideration from the beginning.

Graphic Design

The Brand

To start off, a complete review of their brand identity which represented Ventec as a group moving past the previous naming conventions of Ventec Europe, Ventec USA and Ventec HQ.

The new brand identity, Ventec International Group saw a consistent look and feel to the corporate colours and traditional ‘hexes’ while bringing in the Chinese Translation of the company name to solidify its international presence.

Developing the Concepts

Previously maintaining three distinct websites for Europe, USA and Asia, where the company was originally founded, the focus of the next year was to bring together each of these distinct divisions into one unified website.

The focus of the new website was to represent all the technical information allocated to each of their products. Previously each document of product data was carefully designed by our studio and uploaded to each site in various languages, allowing customers to view and download data.

Focusing on a digital first approach, we developed a bespoke system allowing the Chinese HQ to update product data in their Umbraco CMS. This automatically adjusted on the front end of the site – minimising the design time needed for each update. Users now have the option to view the latest data online, via the app or download the PDF for future reference.
