Fat Media feature on The Hotel Inspector

Millions of TV viewers have seen how Fat Media’s digital marketing and brand design teams are helping a beautiful Spanish hotel and restaurant attract more customers.

People tuning in to the hit Channel 5 series Hotel Inspector on Thursday May 28 watched ex-pat sisters Karen Atkinson and Sarah Melton tackle the problem of building up occupancy rates at their boutique hotel – La Casa in Torrox, Costa del Sol – which was struggling after the global financial crisis.


The show’s star, Alex Polizzi, quickly identified that, though the place was beautiful, located in a superb setting and offered amazing food, it needed a radical overhaul of its marketing materials to bring out its true nature - and bring in more business.


So the Hotel Inspector production company Twofour called in Fat Media’s branding, copywriting and digital marketing experts to create an exciting new La Casa brand and provide an attractive, user-friendly new website as well as signage and promotional brochures.

The hotel’s marketing now truly reflects the multi award-winning La Casa’s amazing ambience and its location in one of Spain’s most picturesque whitewashed villages. 

Alex Polizzi and the sisters described the new look and feel as ‘stunning’ and are now confident that, along with the publicity generated by the TV show, it will bring in the custom La Casa deserves.
