Fat Media Directors Michael Gibson and Dominic Williams have both graduated from Lancaster University. The pair successfully completed the LEAD (Leadership and Development) course run by Lancaster University Management School as part of its programmes targeted at SMEs.
"It was a superb year where we learnt an enormous amount about how to face and tackle the challenges of leading a business”, said Michael. "The course challenged every preconception and made you realise there are many other business owners facing the same challenges as you every day”.
The Lancaster University Management School was ranked 5th in the world for corporate strategy by the Financial Times. The course included shadowing and exchanging with other businesses on the course; active learning sets to develop understanding of other businesses and how to help tackle each other’s business challenges; mentoring and coaching; and masterclasses from great leaders at companies such as Rolls Royce, Brompton Bikes, Green & Blacks and others with huge experience such as Sir Chris Bonnington and sailor Pete Goss.
