Our Challenge

Just One Norfolk is a brand new site, created on behalf of Norfolk Children & Young People's Services, a part of Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust.

The site aims to give personalised advice and support on the health and well-being of children and young people.

It was important that the site catered both to parents and young people themselves, giving expert and confidential advice as well as promoting relevant local services from the Trust.

What We Delivered

  • Website Design

A bright, engaging and user-friendly design.

  • Website Development

Using the Umbraco CMS, this site includes an API integration.

  • Security

The user account areas are extremely secure given their sensitive content

Personalised Content

We have integrated the Just One Norfolk site with PAM - the Patient Activation Measure health questionnaire. The integration means users don't have to leave the site to complete it, and the site is then able to tailor the content users see based on their results.

This includes a wealth of online learning content, much of which is interactive, such as videos, charts and articles.

Users have their own password-protected account area, which stores their results and content preferences. It also reminds them when it is time to re-take their PAM questionnaire. We have also implemented a 'hide this site' button which appears on all pages, giving users the ability to quickly conceal their use of it and protect their privacy.

For the Just One Norfolk team, CMS access is strictly controlled, to protect the users' confidentiality. Those who do need access to personal data must complete a two-factor authentication process in order to log in.

Accessibility for All

The Just One Norfolk website includes a number of accessibility features, to enable as many people as possible to use their site with ease. These include multiple text size options, a screen reader, and multiple language options. This means the site complies with the latest Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, a vital standard for all public sector sites.
